Moving animals still runs on phone calls: customers cannot see prices or follow a trip, and operators juggle drivers, dates and payments by hand.

The piece

Hawdaj is an animal-transportation platform that joins three experiences into one: a customer app, a driver app and an operations portal.

Customers register, save their addresses and book a trip now or within a time window that suits them, describing the vehicle and the animals involved. Drivers see suitable requests, accept them, choose a date inside the customer’s window and manage the trip, while customers follow the vehicle live on a map. Behind them, the operations portal manages orders, drivers, ratings, settings and content, with vehicle, capacity and distance-based pricing rules configured centrally.

    Drivers sign in with credentials issued by operations, accept or pass on requests, and pick a date inside the customer’s window.

    Customers follow the assigned vehicle on a map for the whole trip.

  8. Two-Way Ratings

    Customers rate drivers and drivers rate customers once a trip is complete, so poor experiences surface quickly.
